it’s monday. and for most people, they either love mondays or they absolutely hate them. as for me, i  like mondays. it’s the start of a new week, an opportunity to gain a new perspective; a fresh start. but while i typically love mondays, sometimes i need a little encouragement to make it through the day. with that in mind, i decided some of you may be in need of some encouragement to reshape your mind this morning and shift your perspective for a positive week ahead. happy monday, be encouraged.

8). you are more than good enough.

2 corinthians 3:5 not that we are sufficient in ourselves to claim anything as coming from us, but our sufficiency is from God.

2 corinthians 12:9 but he said to me, “my grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

romans 12:2 do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

james 1:4 and let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.

luke 12:6-7 are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? and not one of them is forgotten before God. why, even the hairs of your head are all numbered. fear not; you are of more value than many sparrows.

7). you aren’t alone.

psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.

joshua 1:9 have I not commanded you? be strong and courageous. do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

romans 8:38-39 for I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord

john 16:33 i have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. in the world you will have tribulation. but take heart; i have overcome the world.”

6). the timing of your life is right on track.

habakkuk 2:3 for still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. if it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.

ecclesiastes 8:6 for there is a time and a way for everything, although man’s trouble lies heavy on him.

jeremiah 29:11 for I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

jeremiah 1:5 before i formed you in the womb i knew you, and before you were born i consecrated you; i appointed you a prophet to the nations.”
