There is NOTHING like Chicago in the summer time ya’ll! The weather is perfect and there are plenty of things to do around the city to keep your entertained and your belly full. With festival season about to be in full swing, here is a list events that you can check out in Chicago this summer!

Spring Awakening June 8-10

There are a ton of summer music festivals in Chicago, but when it comes to electronic music festivals, Spring Awakening is the reigning champ.

The 2018 Spring Awakening lineup includes headlining acts like Deadmau5, Steve Aoki, Big Gigantic, Tiësto and Kaskade. The festival will also feature branded stages curated by underground EDM purveyors Sunday School, Oliver Helden’s Heldeep Records label and industry publication DJ Mag.  

Pride Festival June 16-17

Chicago Pride Fest®, June 16-17, 2018, is an exciting two-day street festival held the weekend leading up to the Chicago Pride Parade with up to 100,000 expected to attend, celebrating LGBTQ life, culture and community.

The festival features live music by popular artists, 3 stages, food and drink, 100+ arts/craft and merchant vendors, DJ’s and dancing, drag shows, pet parade, sponsor booths and more.

Mamby On The Beach June 23-24

The 2018 installment of the Mamby On The Beach music festival will be held on the coastline of Oakwood Beach in Chicago’s Bronzeville neighborhood June 23 – 24. Organizers of the two-day event have announced the lineup for Mamby Beach’s fourth annual installment.

Common, Spoon, Grizzly Bear, Russ, Cold War Kids, Tune-Yards and St. Lucia are atop the bill for the June festival. Gorgon City, Oh Wonder, Duke Dumont, AJR and Roy Wood$ are among the other acts confirmed for Mamby On The Beach ’18. Click here to purchase tickets.

The Taste of Chicago July 11-July 15

Taste of Chicago is the nation’s premier outdoor food festival showcasing the diversity of Chicago’s dining community. The delicious array of food served at Taste of Chicago is complemented by music and exciting activities for the entire family.

Every summer since 1980, Chicago’s beautiful Grant Park on the city’s magnificent lakefront has been home to the world’s largest food festival.

V103’s Summer Block Party July 14-15
